Upvc Multipoint Door Locks
Upvc Multipoint Door locks account for more than 70 per cent of all door locks in the UK. Unfortunately they are not a universal fit with many manufacturers producing different models and sizes.
At Lockkeys Locksmiths Burscough we are dealing with Upvc multi-point door locks for the majority of our working days and this makes sense when you consider over 70 per cent of all doors now in the UK are of a Upvc type.
Unfortunately they are not a universal fit and there are multiples of manufacturers making different models and different sizes of these locks. The one pictured above was one that had failed and the full lock is now obsolete, however the centre case or gearbox which is usually the part that fails could be replaced.
This particular make which was Mila had 3 different sizes to choose from which we call the backset and this one was a 25mm one which which is a very small and unusual size.
